Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Ground Service Technician to join our team at Skyservice. As a key member of our ground support team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient handling of aircraft on the ground.
Responsibilities:
- Safely marshal aircraft in and out of hangars and on aprons/ramps;
- Operate fuel trucks to fuel and complete aircraft orders;
- Conduct aviation/jet fuel quality checks and document results;
- Tow aircraft in and out of hangars and on aprons/ramps;
- Provide ground services to aircraft, including lavatory waste disposal, oxygen, and potable water;
- Ensure readiness and replenishment of anti-ice devices during winter activities;
- Maintain a professional appearance and conduct with customers and coworkers;
- Maintain the cleanliness of all facilities and equipment;
Requirements:
- High school diploma/GED required;
- Valid driver's license required;
- Aviation experience preferred, but not required;
- Basic computer skills;
- Good communication skills;
- Excellent customer service skills;
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs;
- Ability to safely use and climb ladders;
- Ability to work outside in a variety of weather/environmental conditions;
Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, with 8 to 10 hour shifts. Must be available to work statutory holidays as required.
