Job Title: Skilled Welder

Newco Staffing is seeking a skilled welder to join our team at NESCO Inc, a well-established company with over 80 years of experience in the industry. As a skilled welder, you will be responsible for performing advanced welding tasks on various metals, including stainless steel, nickel alloy, and more.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proficient in GMAW, FCAW, and GTAW welding methods.
  • Capable of handling standard projects and completing fit-ups in accordance with company standards.
  • Skilled in advanced blueprint reading and understanding welding symbols.
  • Works independently with sound judgment.
  • Ensures tasks are finished within specified timelines.
Requirements:
  • Familiarity with basic welding principles.
  • Minimum one certification in GMAW, FCAW, or GTAW welding techniques.
  • Aptitude in using tools like micrometers and calipers.
Physical Demands:
  • The role requires physical stamina, including:
  • Mainly standing.
  • Intermittent lifting (weights between 25 to 50 pounds).
  • Duties may involve pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, and reaching as needed.
  • Average work shift lasts ten hours daily.
  • Safety precautions include wearing steel-toe boots and safety glasses.
