The Project Manager will oversee the development of complex projects, ensuring they are completed within predetermined conditions of cost, quality, safety, and timelines. This role involves participating in project specification definition, planning, and budgeting. The Project Manager will coordinate the work of various participants and ensure that development methods, timelines, and costs are observed throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities:- Identify and mitigate potential project risks, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion.
- Monitor project progress, interpreting and executing assignments, and coordinating with team members.
- Establish and manage project budgets, tracking expenditures and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Prepare cost-to-complete estimates to determine project feasibility within assigned budgets.
- Ensure adherence to internal project quality assurance procedures.
- Supervise a team of engineers and technicians, providing guidance and support.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate the preparation of documents and activities for multiple major projects.
- Perform preliminary engineering design and review the work of staff or project engineers.
- Coordinate work with other engineers and professionals within and outside the discipline.
- Master's degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
- Registered Professional Engineer in New Jersey or New York.
- 8+ years of engineering management experience.
- Proven ability to identify, develop, and mentor talent.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical and judgment capabilities.
- Ability to establish a vision and create an environment for excellence.
