Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Floor Lead to join our team at Cremer North America. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for leading the flaking team and working on the floor to ensure efficient and safe operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the flaking team and work on the floor to ensure efficient and safe operations
  • Report directly to the Flaking Supervisor and work closely with the team to achieve production goals
  • Supervise completion of work by assigning tasks to crew members and facilitating a team approach
  • Perform railcar duties and control room duties as required
  • Maintain oversight of all flaking floor operations and personnel
  • Openly share and communicate production priorities to the crew
  • Foster and promote an atmosphere of teamwork and safety
  • Attend production meetings and report daily pack out/thru-put and downtime
Requirements
  • A High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required
  • Sit-down forklift experience is required
  • At least one year working in the flaking department or as a chemical operator in a similar facility
  • At least one year of sit-down forklift experience preferred
