Director of Medical Surgical Oncology

Job Summary:
The Director of Medical Surgical Oncology is a highly motivated and team-oriented leader responsible for managing the financial and clinical operations of assigned areas of responsibility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing and leadership, with experience in managing teams and developing policies and procedures. The Director will work closely with the medical and nursing staffs, administration, patients, and their families to ensure high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage the financial and clinical operations of assigned areas of responsibility
Develop and implement policies and procedures to guide and support the provision of services
Supervise nursing staff and ensure staff competency
Participate in the development of goals and objectives for the Nursing Department
Promote the Quality Management program of the facility and maintain quality control programs

Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
Bachelor's degree required
Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Virginia as a registered nurse
American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider
Five (5) years current nursing experience; two (2) years of management experience required
