Job Summary

Lone Star College is seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty - Mathematics Instructor to join our team. As a Mathematics Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching Math courses at various times and locations, creating engaging lessons that promote student involvement and application of the material, and evaluating students to measure their progress in achieving course objectives.

This is a part-time position, and the instructor will be required to meet with classes at all scheduled times and be available to students outside of class instruction.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Mathematics or a related field, with 18 graduate hours in Mathematics or Statistics. The instructor will be responsible for maintaining professional relationships with students, colleagues, and the community, and will be expected to attend meetings, trainings, and orientations as required.

The salary for this position is $53.82 per contact hour, and the instructor will be eligible for benefits, including tuition waiver and participation in a tax-deferred retirement plan.
