LPN Resident Program Overview

Catholic Health Service is seeking a motivated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our New Graduate LPN Residency Program. This 6-month program is designed to provide new graduates with the skills and confidence needed to succeed in home care.

As an LPN Resident, you will work under the guidance of seasoned mentors to master the art of following established care plans, provide compassionate support to patients and their caregivers, and attend specialized classes to hone your expertise.

Upon completion of the program, you will be eligible to transition into a Field LPN role, where you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our patients and their families.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow established care plans and provide care for patients and/or their responsible caregivers
  • Attend classes assigned by the program and demonstrate proficiency in the content

Qualifications:

  • Current New York State Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
  • Basic Life Support Certification
  • Current, valid NY State driver's license and own transportation

Salary and Benefits:

Catholic Health Service offers a competitive salary range of $33.00 per hour, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including tuition assistance, a defined benefit pension plan, and a culture that supports professional and educational growth.
