Hourly Compensation: $14 per hour

Incentive: $500 signing bonus after 90 days of employment

Work Schedule: This is a PT/FT/FLEX role with varying hours based on availability and operational requirements. Shifts include 8am-4pm, 4pm-12am, and 12am-8am.

Key Responsibilities:

The Airfield Safety Supervisor will perform vehicle and identification badge inspections, ensuring that only authorized personnel and materials access the airfield. This role carries significant responsibility, requiring vigilance in observing and reporting any security concerns that may affect the safety and welfare of our clients and visitors. Additionally, you will be the first responder to emergency situations and will implement the policies and procedures established by management.

Internal Operations Management:

  • Complete all electronic activity reports, incident reports, and other necessary documentation related to daily operations.
  • Ensure the proper handling and management of radios, keys, and other assigned equipment.
  • Oversee the processing and care of found or impounded property.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
  • Ensure the safety of airfield personnel, property, and equipment.

Security Enforcement:

  • Maintain continuous surveillance of assigned areas to ensure maximum visibility.
  • Verify that all individuals entering the premises are authorized.
  • Foster a culture of security and safety awareness throughout your designated area.
  • Be knowledgeable about the location and operation of fire alarms, firefighting equipment, first aid supplies, and other safety tools.

Security Issue Management:

  • Remain vigilant and promptly report any individuals engaging in prohibited activities.
  • Identify and report safety hazards.
  • Perform the duties of a Security Officer as required.

Client Relations:

  • Provide assistance to clients, their employees, guests, and visitors in a timely and professional manner.
  • Promote positive public relations through courteous interactions with tenants and guests.
  • Enforce property rules and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • North Carolina Unarmed Guard Card is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and make sound decisions in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent organizational and writing skills.
  • Demonstrated maturity and professionalism.

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands of this position require the ability to operate small office equipment, including computers and telephones, as well as the ability to move around the premises to check vehicles and badges. This role may require standing for extended periods.

Working Environment:

Work is conducted both indoors and outdoors for extended periods, with exposure to varying environmental conditions, including extreme temperatures. While protective measures may be provided, employees should be prepared for temperature fluctuations.
