Job Summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking a skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring a positive and memorable experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide courteous and efficient service to customers, processing transactions and maintaining a clean and well-stocked food and beverage area.
  • Assist with receiving and unloading product, stocking and organizing merchandise on planograms.
  • Train lower-level cashiers on job duties and responsibilities.
  • Prioritize work according to store and management needs, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
  • Know and follow safety guidelines, reporting any potentially unsafe situations.
  • Establish strong communication and rapport with leaders and coworkers.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of cashier experience preferred.
  • Computer/POS knowledge required.
  • Cash handling skills required.
  • Merchandising/stocking experience preferred.
  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and some holidays.

Working Conditions:

In this role, you will be continuously sitting and typing, frequently talking and using eye and hand coordination. You may also be required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
