Position Summary

We are seeking a meticulous and systematic Rental Yard Attendant to enhance our operations. If you have a passion for construction machinery, take pride in maintaining equipment, and appreciate the satisfaction of a job well executed, this role may be a perfect fit for you.

Work Schedule

This position is primarily a daytime role from Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare equipment for rental, which includes washing, greasing, checking fluid levels, ensuring proper functionality, and completing necessary documentation.
  • Manage the loading and unloading of machinery, providing basic operational instructions, inspecting for damages upon return, and documenting the condition of equipment.
  • Support customers and assist in various store departments as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the yard, which involves organizing equipment, cleaning the wash bay, and disposing of trash.
  • Assist in drafting rental agreements.
  • Perform additional general labor tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Possess a positive attitude and strong communication skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, or pull weights ranging from 10 to 50 pounds.
  • One year of general labor experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • A valid driver's license in good standing is essential.
