Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Catheterization Laboratory Technologist to join our team on a travel assignment basis. As a Cath Lab Tech, you will be responsible for assisting with diagnostic and interventional procedures, operating imaging equipment, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with diagnostic and interventional procedures, including coronary and peripheral angiography, and electrophysiology studies
- Operate imaging equipment, such as fluoroscopy and ultrasound machines
- Maintain a safe and efficient work environment, including preparing and cleaning equipment and supplies
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care
- Document patient information and procedure details accurately and thoroughly
Requirements:
- Current licensure as a Catheterization Laboratory Technologist in the state of practice
- At least 5 years of experience in a Cath Lab setting, with a minimum of 3 years of recent experience
- Strong knowledge of imaging equipment and procedures
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
