Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Catheterization Laboratory Technologist to join our team on a contract basis. As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will be responsible for assisting in the performance of diagnostic and interventional procedures, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the performance of diagnostic and interventional procedures, including coronary and peripheral angiography, and electrophysiology studies
  • Maintain and troubleshoot equipment, including angiographic equipment, fluoroscopy units, and other medical devices
  • Ensure a safe and efficient work environment, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • Current certification as a Catheterization Laboratory Technologist
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab setting
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
