Neonatal Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Neonatal Care Specialist to join our team at TotalMed in San Leandro, California. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to work with critically ill newborns and their families.
Job SummaryThis position requires a registered nurse with extensive experience in neonatal care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in assessing and managing the health of premature and full-term infants, as well as experience with life-supporting interventions such as ventilators and IV therapy.
Responsibilities:- Assess and manage the health of critically ill newborns, including those on life-supporting interventions.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients and their families.
- Provide education and support to parents and caregivers on neonatal care and health management.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current RN license and BLS certification.
- At least 1 year of experience in neonatal intensive care units (NICUs) or similar settings.
- Strong knowledge of neonatal physiology, pathophysiology, and pharmacology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
The estimated salary for this position is $145,000 per year, based on national averages and industry standards. Salary may vary depending on experience and qualifications.
