Job Summary

The Senior Innovation Analytics Manager will play a key role in driving innovation and data-driven decision-making across the firm. This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced data analytics and reporting solutions to enhance business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the delivery of prototype solutions that leverage data visualization, AI/ML, and related technologies to drive business value.
  • Partner with attorneys and other professionals to develop and deploy innovative tech solutions that prioritize value, cost-effectiveness, efficiency, transparency, and predictability.
  • Conduct advanced data analysis for internal and external stakeholders, presenting findings in an accessible manner.
  • Serve as an expert on data and analytics solutions, guiding on their application and differentiation within the firm.
  • Lead innovation projects aligned with strategic goals, ensuring effective change management and process documentation.
  • Develop business cases for the adoption or licensing of legal tech solutions, assessing their ROI.
  • Provide responsive and scalable information support to attorneys and firm professionals.
  • Monitor trends in legal innovation to inform and support the business case for innovation initiatives.
  • Establish success criteria for new initiatives, ensuring compliance with firm standards and best practices in technology management.
  • Engage in all phases of project management, fostering strong relationships across the firm and clarifying technical concepts in understandable terms.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills, including innovating and integrating systems where no clear solution exists.
  • Independent project management with a knack for knowing when to seek guidance.
  • Strategic and holistic thinking with a focus on scalable solutions across the organization.
  • Knowledge of legal technology, including document assembly, robotic process automation, AI, machine learning, and predictive coding.
  • Expertise in relational database management and user experience design, including data visualization.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, Teams, Power Automate, Visio, OneDrive, and Power BI.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
  • Understanding of data warehousing, dimensional modeling, ETL/ELT, and security.
  • Innovative mindset capable of turning ideas into solutions and integrating varied tools.
  • Strong business analysis and strategic thinking skills, with a focus on exceeding client expectations and guiding team members.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex technical concepts in simple terms to diverse audiences.
  • Superior organizational and time management abilities, with adeptness at setting priorities and solving problems under pressure.

Education and Experience

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered in lieu of the degree when the experience has been directly related to the functions of the job, preferably in a law firm, corporate legal department, or other legal services provider environment.

The position requires a minimum of five (5) years of increasingly responsible, directly related experience during which knowledge, skills, and abilities applicable to the position were demonstrated, preferably (in part) in a professional services environment.

We are committed to fair and equitable compensation practice in accordance with applicable laws. The pay range for this position is $120,000 – $160,000. Additional compensation may include a discretionary bonus.
