**About the Role:**

As a Registered Nurse in our Medical Surgical department, you will be responsible for delivering care to patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions. You will assess patients, develop and implement individualized care plans, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

**Responsibilities:**

* Assess patients and develop individualized care plans
* Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments
* Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
* Participate in unit-based council and engage in quality improvement initiatives
* Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care

**Requirements:**

* Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program or Nursing Diploma required
* BSN preferred
* One-year experience as a clinical nurse, or completion of an RN residency program
* Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire
* BCLS – prior to providing independent patient care required
* ACLS – within 90 days of hire required
* CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training – within 90 days of hire
