We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Engineer Energy to join our team in Richland, WA. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards in our energy projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quality assurance procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality assurance is integrated into all aspects of project delivery.
  • Provide training and guidance to team members on quality assurance best practices and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain quality metrics and reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., engineering or a scientific discipline) and 10 years' experience as a QA Engineer; or AS Degree with 15 years' experience; or High School diploma or equivalent with 20 years' experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience working in a lead role in audit/assessment planning, reporting, and follow-up activities.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in program management.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in communicating with fabricators, QA clients, and project management personnel.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Strong time management/organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a team player attitude.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Detailed knowledge of NQA-1 and DOE QA regulations and directives.
  • Working knowledge of applicable national and/or international testing standards.
  • Working knowledge of assessment/auditing practices.
  • Detailed knowledge of nuclear facility QA design control requirements.
  • Detailed knowledge of causal analysis techniques.
  • Working knowledge of radioactive and/or hazardous material management.
  • Detailed knowledge of DOE and NRC processes for Integrated Safety Management Systems, nuclear safety, radiation safety, and environmental compliance.
  • Detailed knowledge of fabrication and testing of mechanical and electrical systems, national codes/standards, fabrication drawings, welding processes, nondestructive testing processes, and mechanical and electrical testing activities.
  • Certification as an ASQ Lead Auditor.
  • Certification as a lead auditor per NQA-1.
  • Must be a U.S citizen in order to be considered.
