Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Cost Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing the quality assurance of cost control services.
  • Managing program costs, including budgets, actuals, and estimates to complete, while generating regular cash flow and tracking reports through the PMIS cost module.
  • Supervising cost control personnel, providing mentorship, and assisting in the review of monthly invoices.
  • Coordinating with fiscal departments for processing contract requests and approvals.
  • Preparing comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc cost tracking reports.
  • Assuming the responsibilities of Project Cost Controls during absences or when additional support is required.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in cost control.
  • Experience as a senior cost controller on hospital or medical projects is advantageous.
  • Extensive knowledge of construction cost accounting, including budget setup, commitments, actual costs, remaining costs, potential change orders, and estimates to complete.
  • Familiarity with online PMIS platforms such as eBuilder, Procore, or Unifier.
  • Experience in overseeing staff is a prerequisite.
