Job Title: Production Manager

At Headway Technologies, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes and achieving our quality and productivity goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the work of operators, technicians, and supervisors, evaluating performance and making employment-related decisions.
  • Ensure that all objectives are consistently attained in the areas of quality, productivity, yield, and cost.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for production and quality goals.
  • Prepare, maintain, and present production reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Measure and continuously improve compliance in all aspects of manufacturing.
  • Work with the equipment maintenance team to qualify and maintain tools and/or equipment.
  • Review, monitor, and prioritize multiple product flows.
  • Respond to inquiries from other departments or groups regarding production issues.
  • Identify gaps in the production process and make recommendations to reduce scrap, improve quality, and minimize cycle time.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or Manufacturing, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Five years of increasing challenging experience working in a manufacturing environment in the semiconductor industry.
  • Two years of experience in a management or supervisory role in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Applications.
Working Conditions:

The Production Manager works primarily in an office environment. The schedule may be altered from time-to-time to meet business or operational needs; may travel from building-to-building as needed. Works in a class 100 ESD sensitive wafer manufacturing facility; wears a cleanroom (bunny) suit, including hood, gloves, safety glasses, booties, and mask. May be exposed to high-volume noise and/or hazardous materials such as chemicals or particulate matter. Stands and walks; performs various fine grasping movements, bends, and twists; operates a computer and enters information using a keyboard, operates a telephone, and other office equipment. May occasionally push, pull, or lift up to 20 pounds.
