Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our team at Maverc Technologies. As a Data Scientist, you will play a critical role in developing multi-intelligence and multi-domain systems that utilize object and activity-based models within the intelligence community.

Your primary responsibilities will include designing, configuring, developing, testing, and supporting informatics and data science solutions across various technical use cases. You will apply analytical methodologies to identify data-related challenges, implement effective solutions, and assess performance outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Solution Development: Design, configure, develop, test, and support informatics and data science solutions for multiple technical use cases.
  • Analytical Methodologies: Apply analytical methodologies to identify data-related challenges, implement effective solutions, and assess performance outcomes.
  • Documentation and Communication: Document and present requirements, design alternatives, and findings to team members and clients in a clear and concise manner.
  • Data Modeling: Develop strategic, baseline data modeling processes and accurately determine cause-and-effect relationships.
  • Tool Utilization: Leverage integrated development environments, data integration, data visualization, and data mining and analysis tools.
  • Library Maintenance: Maintain and guide the development of common libraries and tools used across multiple teams.
  • Rapid Prototyping: Assist in formulating strategies to achieve rapid prototyping for innovative solutions.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Security Clearance: Active Secret Security Clearance.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree with 7-10 years of experience, or Master's degree with 5 years of experience.
  • Languages: Proficiency in one or more scripting languages, such as Python or R.
  • Big Data Programming: Strong expertise in one or more big data programming languages, such as Python or Java.
  • AI/ML Experience: Experience in AI/ML model development, containerization, and productization.
  • Knowledge Graphs: Knowledge graph construction and reasoning experience, including experience with property graph or RDF model frameworks.
  • Elasticsearch: Experience with Elasticsearch and related indexing technologies.
  • Data Analytics: Prior experience in data analytics or big data research, with a significant share of experience supporting military or intelligence community customers.
  • Open-Source Sources: Familiarity with open-source data sources (PAI) and/or forensic media (DOMEX).
  • Predictive Algorithms: Experience developing predictive algorithms.
  • Cybersecurity: Experience in cybersecurity or network security operations.
  • Social Network Analysis: Familiarity with social network analysis, supply chain analysis, forensic accounting, pattern of life analysis, natural language processing, social media analysis, classification algorithms, and/or image processing.
  • Blend of Analytical Methodologies: Ability to blend analytical methodologies and leverage COTS/GOTS/OS tools in unconventional ways.
