Job Summary

As a Production Supervisor with National Guard Employment Network, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient production of high-quality products. This position requires a strong leader who can train, evaluate, and take appropriate action to maintain a safe work environment, manage production processes, and investigate and resolve quality and efficiency issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Train and develop personnel to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Maximize production throughout by efficiently using labor and materials.
  • Maintain equipment in good operating condition and prevent downtime due to mechanical problems.
  • Ensure compliance with standard practices and procedures to provide quality production and efficient operation.
  • Review production reports to identify areas for improvement and develop plans to correct substandard performance.
  • Effectively communicate with employees, management, and other stakeholders to resolve production and quality-related issues.
  • Administer established standards, practices, and procedures to ensure efficient and safe production.
  • Direct and assign work to employees to ensure adequate workloads and effective utilization of resources.
  • Inspect work areas daily to identify and correct unsafe conditions and behaviors.
  • Investigate accidents and near misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of supervision experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of SPC and continuous improvement principles.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in a technical discipline preferred.
