We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Controls Engineer to join our team at The Alexzander Group Human Resource Consultants, INC. in Addison, TX. Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop control systems for industrial processes and machinery, including developing control system architecture, selecting components, programming controllers, and implementing databases.
  • Lead a team of engineers and technicians to provide control system solutions, and mentor less experienced engineers.
  • Develop and implement project execution plans, work breakdown structures, budgets, and task schedules.
  • Manage projects up to $10M, including issue resolution, team leadership, and overseeing project operations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical/Control Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • Greater than 8 years of experience in automation solutions, with a strong understanding of Emerson DeltaV, PLC-5 to ControlLogix conversions, and HMI/SCADA hardware/software platforms.
  • Project Management experience with a PMP certification is a plus.
  • Understanding of Batch/Recipes, OEE, MES, and ERP systems, as well as experience in industries such as Semiconductor, Life Sciences, Building Automation, Food and Beverage, Water Treatment, and general manufacturing.
Travel and Working Environment:

Ability to travel up to 25% - mostly local to Dallas. Standard office environment, on-site office environment, diverse industrial environments, frequent use of a personal computer, facsimile/copy machines, and phones.

Physical demands of the position include seeing, color perception, hearing, clear speech, dexterity in hands, driving, lifting, ability to mount/dismount equipment, pushing and pulling.
