Flight Test Engineer Opportunity

DCS Corp is seeking a highly skilled Flight Test Engineer to support the Navy Test Wing Atlantic at NAS Patuxent River, MD. As a key member of our team, you will apply engineering expertise to support the Air Vehicle Test and Evaluation of various aircraft platforms, ordnance, and stores.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test, and evaluate aircraft and aircraft-related systems.
  • Prepare and present technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other documentation.
  • Develop flight test profiles and prepare flight cards for aircraft testing.
  • Communicate flight test objectives and present flight briefings.

Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizenship is required due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements.
  • ABET-accredited BS Degree in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years of experience.
  • Secret Clearance is required at Day One or the ability to obtain a secret clearance.
  • First-hand experience with planning, conducting, and reporting on flight tests.
  • Experience in Test Engineering with development, test, and evaluation of aircraft weapons systems.

Desired Skills:

  • Familiarity with NAVAIR technical and NTWL policies and procedures.
