Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston (OCB) is a renowned eye care provider with a national and international reputation for excellence.
As a Comprehensive Ophthalmic Technician II, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care under the direct supervision of the department supervisor.
Key responsibilities include assisting physicians in gathering patient data, maintaining a conducive clinical environment, and performing various essential tasks such as visual acuity testing, visual field testing, and diagnostic testing.
You will also be responsible for maintaining patient medical records, ensuring efficient and organized workflow, and troubleshooting most eye issues.
Required certifications include Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA), Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT), or Certified Ophthalmic Medical Technologist (COMT).
