We are seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor to join our team at Alpha Baking Company, Inc. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities- Direct the activities of production personnel to ensure efficient and effective production of high-quality bakery products.
- Monitor equipment settings and operations to ensure proper functioning and adherence to company standards.
- Control process standards for mixing, fermentation, dividing, molding, proofing, baking, slicing, packaging, and coding.
- Ensure adequate supply of materials needed for production.
- Monitor and complete process control and quality assurance documents.
- Conduct training and indoctrination of hourly employees.
- Complete required documents and reports.
- Maintain communication with department head regarding employee, equipment, process control, quality, safety, or sanitation issues.
- Report maintenance and sanitation issues to respective departments.
- Discipline employees as necessary to maintain a safe, sanitary, and productive work environment.
- Resolve employee grievances at the step-one level.
- Assist other departments as needed.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 3 years of manufacturing experience.
- 1 year of prior supervisory experience.
- Fluency in MS Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Good communication and leadership skills.
