Job Title: Commercial Roofing Superintendent

We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Commercial Roofing Superintendent to join our team. As a key member of our project management team, you will assist the Project Manager in overseeing a diverse range of commercial roofing projects from start to finish.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the project manager to identify and address constructability issues and scope discrepancies during the preconstruction phase.
  • Participate in the development and final review of project scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of project strategy and commitments, including financial goals, scheduling, logistics, phasing, milestones, and inspections.
  • Oversee daily field operations to ensure proper site safety, construction progress, quality control, and a clean site.
  • Work with the project manager to maintain an updated and accurate project schedule that reflects changes in project status and meets cost and time requirements.
  • Exceed client expectations by understanding client needs, wants, preferences, and culture.
  • Maintain open communication with the project team regarding changes in work, job conditions, subcontractor relations, and project deviations.
  • Promote positive subcontractor relations by dealing professionally and fairly with all subcontractors and vendors.
  • Maintain and review punch list processes to ensure timely execution.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial roofing.
  • Ability to read and understand plans, specifications, and scopes of work.
  • Proven track record of meeting deadlines.
  • Extensive knowledge of safety procedures and regulations.
  • Excellent people skills.
  • Clean background, as government work is a significant part of our pipeline.
