Key Responsibilities
- Perform start-up and shut-down procedures for the facility, ensuring a safe and efficient operation.
- Follow written manufacturing procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
- Conduct in-process quality control testing for products, verifying their quality and consistency.
- Drum and fill containers used to ship finished goods, ensuring accurate labeling and packaging.
- Transfer finished goods from manufacturing areas to storage facilities, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Off-load bulk deliveries of raw materials into the appropriate storage vessel, adhering to safety protocols.
- Manage generated waste, ensuring environmentally responsible disposal practices.
- Keep work areas clean and organized, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
- Report problems observed at the facility, providing timely and accurate information to management.
- Perform emergency shut-down procedures for the facility, responding to unexpected situations with professionalism and expertise.
- Provide backup support for the Lead Chemical Operator, ensuring seamless operation of the production line.
Requirements
- High school degree or equivalent, with a strong foundation in science and mathematics.
- Ability to lift heavy objects, with a focus on physical stamina and endurance.
- Safety training, environmental training, and ISO 9000 training, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, with a positive attitude and a focus on collaboration and respect for colleagues.
