We are seeking a dedicated full-time Nutritional Care Specialist. Our goal is to tailor the wellness journey by delivering skilled nursing and rehabilitation services that cater to the unique needs of each individual. We have built a strong reputation for outstanding service and meticulous attention when offering rehabilitation, assisted living, and skilled nursing care.

Key Responsibilities:

· Oversee the nutritional management of residents and patients through comprehensive nutritional evaluations.

· Engage in interdisciplinary team meetings as necessary.

· Offer nutritional guidance and education to residents and their families.

· Conduct dietary training sessions as required.

· Execute additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

· Strong decision-making and judgment skills.

· Ability to recognize and address complex issues.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities are essential.

· High proficiency in enteral nutrition, wound care, weight management, and Hemodialysis.

· Comfortable working within a healthcare environment.

· Knowledge of state survey processes and adherence to nutrition care regulations.

The ideal candidate will:

· Hold a Registered Dietitian credential and a valid Florida license.

· Deliver nutritional care to long-term care residents and sub-acute rehabilitation patients.

· Plan, organize, develop, and oversee the nutritional care of residents in compliance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, regulations, and established facility policies.

· Actively participate in interdisciplinary care conferences.

· Possess a valid Florida Driver's License.

· Serve as a representative of the Food & Nutrition Department in collaboration with medical and nursing staff.

· Experience with electronic documentation systems such as Point Click Care is advantageous.

Work Schedule:

· Monday to Friday

Commute/Relocation Requirements:

· Ability to reliably commute or plans to relocate prior to starting work (Required)
