Job SummaryAs a Mammography Technologist, you will be responsible for taking X-ray images of patients' breasts for screening and diagnosis. You will work in a hospital, clinic, or imaging center, preparing and operating equipment, explaining mammograms to patients, and positioning patients' breasts for imaging.
Responsibilities- Operate mammography equipment to produce high-quality images
- Position patients for imaging and ensure proper positioning
- Explain mammograms to patients and address any concerns
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
- Maintain accurate records and reports
- At least 1 year of recent experience as a Mammography Technologist
- ARRT Certification
- BLS Certification (AHA)
- Current state license (if applicable)
