About the Role

Responsibilities
  • Prepare fiduciary income tax returns, estate tax returns, and estate and trust accountings with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Work on multiple engagements, ensuring client satisfaction and timely completion.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to provide comprehensive tax services to our clients.
  • Stay up-to-date with tax laws and regulations, applying this knowledge to ensure compliance and optimal tax planning.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
  • Desire and determination to become a CPA or Active CPA license.
  • 2-4 years experience preparing fiduciary income tax returns, estate tax returns, and estate and trust accountings.
  • Professional demeanor towards duties and responsibilities, particularly with regard to professional ethics and the exercise of professional judgment.
  • Demonstrates problem-solving, organizational, interpersonal, project management, and communication skills.
  • Strong community orientation.
  • Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft applications.
  • Knowledge of UltraTax a plus.
