Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Console Operator to join our team at Olgoonik Corporation. As a Console Operator, you will be responsible for monitoring and administering our security systems, responding to alarms and incidents, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and operate security systems equipment to provide prompt and effective responses to alarms and incidents.
  • Respond to telephone calls and walk-in inquiries, taking appropriate actions according to established procedures.
  • Notify the FDA Physical Security Branch of any discrepancies regarding emergency call lists and refer callers to other offices or authorities as needed.
  • Operate and monitor CCTV cameras, radio and telephone communications equipment, and video recording equipment to provide written reports of any incidents that occur.
  • Meet with FDA representatives regarding security investigations and prepare security procedures violation reports.
  • Supervise the daily operation of the Command Center, enforcing FDA and company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • One to two years of physical security, guard force, or alarm monitoring experience.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by the needs of the contract.
  • Fluency in the English language and ability to read, write, and comprehend technical documentation.
  • Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite of products, including Word, Excel, Access, and E-mail business software.
Working Conditions

The primary place of performance is The FDA Security Command Center on the White Oak Campus. The work environment is a general security operations center environment.
