Responsibilities:

  • Perform delegated patient care tasks within scope of practice

  • Maintain accurate records and documentation

Requirements:

  • High school education or equivalent
  • Maintains listing with the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services Division of Health Service Regulation, Healthcare Personnel Registry as a Nurse Aide I
  • Maintains listing with the North Carolina Board of Nursing as a Nurse Aide II
  • Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification

Physical Demands:

  • Stamina to stand/walk for long periods of time (2-4 hours)
  • Strength to lift 50 pounds and push stretchers/beds under loads
  • Reflexes/Agility to respond to sudden movements and emergencies

Working Conditions:
