Role Overview
As a vital member of AESC Group, you will be instrumental in propelling our mission to lead in comprehensive battery solutions for a sustainable future.

Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, you will oversee the Maintenance department, providing essential leadership.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with management on critical initiatives and will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing various projects and programs that enhance overall business efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, train, and audit maintenance management activities to ensure standardization, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
- Lead and mentor the team, providing coaching, guidance, and training; manage employee performance evaluations, promotions, and disciplinary actions as necessary.
- Establish standardized KPI metrics for continuous improvement across all levels of the maintenance organization.
- Support global benchmarking initiatives for technical and managerial enhancements.
- Oversee technical training requirements and development, assisting in budget formulation and project details.
- Facilitate training for new equipment installations and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Review and approve expense reports and vendor selections for maintenance-related activities.
- Develop project schedules and coordinate equipment specifications, training, shipping, installation, debugging, and program launches.
- Monitor safety performance and implement proactive measures to enhance safety standards.
- Manage contract service groups, ensuring cost control and quality service delivery.
- Conduct staff meetings to drive the team towards achieving all KPI goals and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications
- A minimum of 10 years of extensive professional experience in a similar role.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or technical field from an accredited institution.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively across various departments.
- Experience in leading diverse teams across cultural and disciplinary boundaries.
- Strategic thinker with a knack for innovative problem-solving.
- Familiarity with global operations and the challenges associated with diverse international markets.
- Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and conferencing systems.

Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of battery manufacturing, EV production, or refinery operations.
- Proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
- Experience in manufacturing environments and start-up settings.
