About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Senior to join our dynamic Tax Department in our Braintree office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional client service and delivering high-quality tax solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns, extensions, and quarterly projections for various clients.
  • Review tax work of staff and interns, providing feedback, training, and mentoring to ensure excellence in tax preparation.
  • Review tax information supplied by clients, identifying and resolving open items.
  • Assist with the coordination of day-to-day tax planning, preparation, and wrap-up activities.
  • Perform tax research to resolve complex issues and identify opportunities for tax savings.
  • Communicate tax matters to Managers and Partners, ensuring seamless collaboration and decision-making.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and staff, fostering a culture of trust and excellence.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; Master's in Taxation preferred.
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in a mid-size public accounting firm, preferably in tax services.
  • CPA or in progress preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws, including individual, trust, and gift taxation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on client service and responsiveness.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications, with a plus for knowledge of Axcess and Go File Room.
