Position SummarySign-on Bonus: $3000 (for first-time hires)
The Senior Automotive Technician role demands a high level of expertise in diagnosing and repairing complex automotive systems. This position not only requires technical proficiency but also involves mentoring junior technicians and enhancing customer satisfaction through exceptional service.
Compensation: Pay Range: $41.15 per hour
Our technicians benefit from a performance-based pay structure, rewarding efficiency and skill with a flat-rate compensation model. This approach ensures that your expertise is recognized and compensated fairly.
Key Responsibilities
• Accurately diagnose and repair various automotive systems including brakes, electrical, suspension, and air conditioning
• Clearly communicate technical issues and repair needs to customers without mechanical backgrounds
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in automotive technology through ongoing paid training
• Provide guidance and training to fellow technicians
• Perform additional duties as required
Minimum Qualifications for Senior Automotive Technician
- Strong reading, writing, and mathematical skills
- Valid driver's license required for operating customer and company vehicles
- Minimum of 5 years of automotive repair experience, or completion of a Vocational-Technical program in a related field
- A.S.E. certification in at least 5 of the following areas: A1-A8 (L1 can be included as one of the five)
- Maintain necessary Federal, State, and Local certifications/licenses
- Ability to convey technical information to non-technical individuals
