Job Title: IT/Network Support Engineer

US Electrodynamics Inc. is seeking a highly skilled IT/Network Support Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our network engineering team, you will be responsible for configuring, installing, analyzing, testing, troubleshooting, and evaluating various network devices, systems, and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Installation and Configuration: Set up and support workstations, servers (both physical and virtual), and network equipment, including firewalls, routers, and switches. Design and implement customer services in our network.
  • End User Support: Provide technical assistance to users facing hardware and software issues.
  • Maintenance: Keep servers and network equipment updated with the latest firmware and software releases, implement patches, and schedule upgrades.
  • Network Health: Focus on ensuring the high availability and performance of network solutions to meet business and customer requirements.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate technical information within the Network Engineering team.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively on team projects and troubleshoot network or IT-related issues.
Qualifications:
  • Applicant must be local to Brewster, WA area or willing to relocate to a rural environment. On-site 5 days a week required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree in computer science or related field.
  • Three years of related experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field (experience can substitute for the degree).
  • Five or more years of related experience.
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Hourly Wage Range: $54.00 per hour, depending on experience.
