Job Summary

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. As an LPN at The Waters, you will be part of an integrated team of professionals who provide community presence and physical, emotional, relational, and care for our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Provide hands-on care to residents, developing close relationships and leading by example for unlicensed caregivers and volunteers.
  • Engage in medication administration and performance of treatments, utilizing knowledge of medication administration and performance of treatments.
  • Teach policies and procedures under appropriate direction, demonstrating compassion and commitment to hospitality, service, and excellence in elderly care.
  • Function as a primary caregiver, performing duties of unlicensed team members and utilizing working knowledge of the Home Care Bill of Rights.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program required.
  • Licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in good standing by the state in which the community is located required/current.
  • Experience with general nursing and elder care required.
