Advanced Personnel Resources is currently seeking a highly skilled Financial Risk and Reporting Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in managing financial and operational risk, ensuring compliance with financial and regulatory reporting requirements for one of our clients in the Triad.
**Key Responsibilities**
• Collaborate with accounting leadership and other stakeholders to implement effective risk management strategies and maintain the financial health of the institute.
• Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to minimize potential risks.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and review financial and regulatory reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
**Requirements**
• Bachelor's degree in accounting required.
• CPA or tangible progress towards certification required.
• 1-4 years of experience in risk management, accounting, or auditing, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
• Public Accounting experience preferred.
