Estimated Salary: $50,000 - $65,000 per year.
Job Description:
The Youth Opportunity Advocate will work with young people to develop their life and career plans, build critical skills, and achieve their long-term goals. • Progress Tracking and Documentation: Document participant interactions, progress, challenges, and achievements through case notes, maintaining a clear and accurate record of each individual's journey.
• Program Awareness and Engagement: Actively promote the program to potential participants, ensuring smooth enrollment and continued engagement throughout the duration of the program.
• Enrollment and Onboarding Support: Assist new participants with the enrollment process, including document collection, form completion, and assessments, to ensure a seamless start.
• Ongoing Participant Engagement: Maintain regular contact with participants, engaging them at least twice a month during active programming and once a month during the follow-up phase.
• Caseload Management: Manage a caseload of up to 75 participants, including both those actively enrolled and those in the 12-month follow-up period after exiting the program.
• Field Visits: Conduct home visits, worksite, and training provider visits to ensure the participant's continued success and engagement.
• Continuous Professional Development: Participate in training sessions, staff meetings, and county- and state-led professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices.
