SUMMARY

The Event Coordinator operates with minimal oversight to strategize and implement events aimed at enhancing brand and product visibility in both niche and broader markets. The position requires travel across the country, transporting motorcycles and necessary equipment for various events. Collaboration with external partners is essential to ensure seamless execution of all event activities. Events may include product showcases or motorcycle riding exhibitions, with interactions involving customers, dealers, media representatives, influencers, and VIPs as necessary.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Event Coordinator is responsible for planning and executing a variety of events, including dealer demonstrations, media launches, trade shows, and corporate gatherings. This role collaborates with fellow event coordinators and stakeholders to provide comprehensive event support, ensuring all tasks align with the project plan and timeline.

Specific duties include:

  • Coordinating essential tasks leading up to and on the day of the event, such as preparing necessary insurance documentation, organizing logistics with tracks and promoters, and driving a transport vehicle to the event site to deliver spare parts, fuel, tools, and refreshments.
  • Preparing motorcycles for demonstration rides to guarantee a safe and effective riding environment.
  • Facilitating various motorcycle demo rides as required, while also assisting with additional demonstrations during company meetings.
  • Post-event responsibilities include cleaning motorcycles and equipment, performing necessary repairs, and preparing for subsequent events.
  • Submitting detailed reports for each event, including signed release forms and participant contact information.
  • Managing any incidents or injuries during events, adhering to established protocols.
  • Assisting with motorcycle refurbishment during off-peak times and supporting media-related functions as needed.
  • Contributing to the organization of the events area at the office when not engaged in events.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

A minimum of three to five years of experience in the motorcycle, automotive, or action sports sectors is generally required. Proficiency in trials, off-road, and street motorcycle riding is essential, along with strong mechanical skills and familiarity with motorcycles. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required, along with a valid Class C driver's license and a current medical certificate. A valid motorcycle license is also necessary.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

A high school diploma is required.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position does not include supervisory responsibilities.
