ABOUT FOOD & BEVERAGE

As a Food & Beverage Specialist, you will gain:

  • Experience in Food & Beverage business fundamentals: sales trends, inventory management, quality control, and promotional strategies.

Typical Responsibilities Include:

  • Delivering an outstanding guest experience by ensuring a fresh and complete shopping environment during all operational hours.
  • Maintaining adherence to Food & Beverage Standards.
  • Understanding how operational procedures affect inventory loss and profitability.
  • Executing Food & Beverage processes, including replenishment, stocking, data accuracy, and cleaning.
  • Managing fast-moving inventory by adjusting stock based on seasonal demand.
  • Following food safety guidelines as per best practices.
  • Utilizing sampling and suggestive selling techniques to enhance product visibility and sales.
  • Collaborating with distributors to maintain effective product displays and backroom organization.
  • Identifying and processing damaged or expired items in accordance with best practices.
  • Creating a welcoming atmosphere by genuinely greeting all guests.
  • Observing guest interactions to tailor assistance based on their needs.
  • Engaging with guests to understand their specific requirements.
  • Being knowledgeable about store offerings to enhance guest experiences.
  • Expressing gratitude to guests for choosing to shop with us.
  • Complying with all applicable beverage laws.
  • Handling environmentally sensitive items responsibly.
  • Using and caring for protective equipment in accordance with safety guidelines.
  • Demonstrating a commitment to ethical conduct and safety.
  • Identifying and correcting hazards to maintain a safe working environment.
