Senior Social Services Coordinator

About the Role
The University of Cincinnati is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Case Manager to join our Graduate College team. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive support to graduate students during challenging times.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for students navigating conflict, grievances, and policies
- Develop relationships with academic units and student support services to best serve students
- Provide transitional support to referring therapists and clients in need of referral to community services
- Offer training for faculty and staff on managing student concerns
- Engage in outreach with students and facilitate coordination between CAPS, Ombuds, and community referral sources
- Maintain a comprehensive database of community referral resources
- Collaborate with colleagues to support Graduate College activities and student success
Requirements
- Masters in Social Work, Counseling, or related field
- LCSW, LPC, LPCC, or similar license/credential (LCSW ideal)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with college students or well-versed in college student wellness trends
- Demonstrated experience working with diverse student populations, including underserved and international students
- Extensive knowledge of social services in the Cincinnati metro area
Work Environment
