Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Product Manager to lead the strategy and execution of brand management and content quality initiatives for Walmart US Suppliers. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping how our products are represented, ensuring consistency, clarity, and excellence in all product-related content.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead efforts to standardize, optimize, and improve product content (descriptions, images, videos, user-generated content) to ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality across all channels.
- Ensure brand guidelines are adhered to across all digital assets, partnering with the creative and marketing teams to maintain brand consistency in all customer touchpoints.
- Develop and execute a product roadmap that aligns with business objectives, working cross-functionally with design, engineering, marketing, and merchandising teams.
- Drive customer needs and expectations, researching and verifying customer requirements to deliver customer value within the parameters of profitability and other targets.
- Build and own a simple product roadmap with proper phasing, communicating with cross-functional partners and stakeholders.
- Manage product/feature rollouts and scaling (using an MVP approach) and iteratively optimize the product.
- Own a simple customer problem and/or product requirements/needs, assisting in building new ideas/products and exploring new focus areas/unchartered areas for value creation.
- Influence and build stakeholder consensus, communicating in stakeholder meetings involving multiple teams and conveying complex information and addressing ambiguity for robust technology development.
- Demonstrate awareness of various principles, ways of working, and subdomain-specific terminologies across multiple subdomains within a domain, comparing the maturity of products, services, and processes across subdomains with others in the industry.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related area and 7 years' experience in product management. Option 2: 9 years' experience in product management or related area.
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related area and 6 years' experience as a product manager, ideally working on consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex B2B/C products.
