About the Role

Talis Group's client, a prominent law firm in Louisville, KY, is seeking an experienced Civil Litigation Associate Specialist to join their team on a full-time basis. This opportunity offers the chance to contribute to the firm's success and work closely with seasoned attorneys in civil litigation cases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Calendar Management: Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and organize case files to ensure seamless coordination between attorneys and staff.
  • Drafting Legal Documents: Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and correspondence with precision and attention to detail.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough legal research to support case development and provide valuable insights to attorneys.
  • Case Management: Assist with case management tasks, track deadlines, and update case information to maintain accurate records.
  • Discovery Assistance: Provide support during the discovery process, ensuring that all necessary documents are collected and reviewed efficiently.
  • Trial Preparation: Collaborate with attorneys to prepare for trials, ensuring that all necessary materials are organized and readily available.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Experience: Previous experience in civil litigation is essential for this role, providing a solid foundation for success.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation is crucial for effective performance.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required for efficient document creation and management.

Benefits and Compensation:

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, along with benefits such as health insurance, 401(k)/retirement plans, paid time off, holidays, and yearly raises.
