About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Residential Building Repair Technician to join our team at Paths Management Services, LLC.

This is a key position that requires a skilled individual to maintain and repair residential buildings, ensuring they remain safe and habitable for our residents.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting complex problems, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including light plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, and light electrical work.
  • Collaborate with property managers and superintendents to ensure effective task coordination and timely completion.
  • Communicate effectively with tenants to schedule repair visits and minimize disruption.
  • Manage incoming service requests and prioritize tasks accordingly.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and address them promptly.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as a maintenance technician or handyperson.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training or certification in a related field preferred.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A reliable vehicle for travel to property locations (where applicable).
  • Able to work occasional Saturdays (when needed).

Estimated Salary Range: $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
