Position Overview
This role involves upholding the mission, vision, core values, and customer service principles of Frederick Health. The incumbent will adhere to the Compliance Program, ensuring all regulatory standards and behavioral expectations are met. The position is dedicated to delivering exceptional care to the patients of FHMG.
Essential Qualifications:
- Proficient in computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) is advantageous.
- Must maintain the necessary Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits for licensure.
- Demonstrates strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Exhibits effective time management, conflict resolution, and problem-solving abilities.
- Possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited institution.
- Licensed to practice medicine in Maryland.
- Current DEA registration.
- Current Maryland Controlled Substance license.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or an equivalent training center.
- License to practice in any state without prior suspensions or revocations.
- Not excluded from participation in any payer programs.
This position involves light work, including lifting up to 20 pounds occasionally and carrying up to 10 pounds, with significant walking or standing required for approximately six hours daily.
Ergonomic Considerations:
Repetitive motions may place stress on muscles and tendons, with risk severity depending on frequency, speed, force, and involved muscle groups.
Work Environment:
Exposure to bloodborne pathogens is anticipated, categorized as Category A.
Reporting Structure:
This position reports directly to the Medical Director.
