Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a full range of non-invasive vascular tests and related duties in patient care and academic/research environments.
  • Work under limited supervision to provide advanced technical skills in the performance of non-invasive tests.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and efficient patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in vascular technology and best practices.
Requirements
  • Must meet one of the following educational/experience requirements:
  • Satisfactory completion of a formal vascular technology training program (1-4 years) and be registry eligible with application for current year.
  • Graduate from a diagnostic ultrasound training program (2-4 years) with 1 full additional year of full-time clinical experience in a dedicated vascular lab and be registry eligible with application for current year.
  • Approximately two years of college with emphasis on the biological sciences and two years of experience in a dedicated vascular laboratory and be registry eligible with application for current year.
  • Certified as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or be registry eligible with application in current year.
