Pharmacy Technician Job Opportunity

Genoa Healthcare is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the pharmacy functions and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Fills prescription orders and verifies medication stock under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.
  • Orders, receives, and stores incoming pharmacy supplies.
  • Verifies medication stock and enters data in the computer to maintain inventory records.
  • Works with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and maintain compliance with federal and state requirements.
  • Performs various clerical duties relating to the department.
Requirements:
  • Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Minnesota.
  • 6+ months of retail or long-term care Pharmacy Technician experience.
  • National Pharmacy Technician Certification.
