Job Summary

Raytheon Careers is seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to support signal injection technology at our Huntsville, AL location. As a key member of our System Integration & Test team, you will collaborate with site engineers to resolve radar technical issues and support radar/Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) site installation planning, execution, analysis, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support radar/HWIL site installation planning, execution, analysis, and reporting
  • Present detailed data analysis and explain results to internal leadership and external customers
  • Anticipated travel 10%, domestically and internationally
Requirements
  • Experience with MATLAB, Python, C/C++, Linux, and/or Unix
  • Experience with Patch Release Testing (PRT), Formal Qualification Testing (FQT), and/or Maintenance Release Testing (MRT)
  • Experience with HWIL (Hardware in the loop) Data
  • Experience with Hardware and/or software integration
  • Active and transferable US Government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. US Citizenship is required, as only US citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Systems Engineering experience including test, integration, or verification and validation of Early Warning Radars or other Missile Defense System (MDS) sensors, understanding of radar signal and data processing, and working level experience with requirements traceability, requirements management, or documentation of IV&V products
  • Experience in the development of verification for advanced radar capabilities and software builds, including building and executing simulated scenarios to gauge sensor performance metrics
  • Experience working within multidisciplinary teams of systems engineering professionals
  • Previous experience working in an Agile environment and utilizing JIRA
  • Current/Active DoD security clearance or SSBI
Clearance Information

This position requires a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process.
