Host Healthcare is seeking a skilled Traveling Medical Imaging Specialist to join our team for a 13-week assignment in California. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for operating medical imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
Job Responsibilities- Operate computed tomography (CT) scanners to produce detailed images of the body's internal structures
- Position patients correctly and safely to ensure accurate and high-quality images
- Administer contrast agents and other medications as needed to enhance image quality
- Monitor patients during procedures and respond to any adverse reactions
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
- Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography or a related field
- Experience with CT scanners and other medical imaging equipment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
