Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Retail Merchandising Assistant to join our team in Hillsdale and Jackson area. As a key member of our merchandising team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of weekly projects in designated Kroger stores through merchandising and reset work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Merchandising and Reset Work: Maintain inventory, complete scheduled updates, and ensure displays are visually appealing and well-stocked.
  • Plan-o-gram Management: Read and understand plan-o-grams, collect new item tags and product, and prepare work areas for section resets.
  • Section Reset and Maintenance: Break down sections, re-position shelving, and place product according to updated schematics.
  • Communication and Reporting: Complete forms, report section completion to Kroger and immediate supervisors, and maintain good relationships with store management and staff.
  • Adaptability and Flexibility: Work independently with minimal supervision, be professional and helpful when dealing with customers, and follow safe work practices at all times.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED equivalent, 18 years of age or older, and retail store experience preferred.
  • Skills and Abilities: Ability to read, write, and communicate fluently in English, highly motivated self-starter, and qualify as an insurable driver with an excellent driving record.
  • Physical Abilities: Must be able to remain standing for several hours, lift, push, or pull 50 lbs or more, and tolerate exposure to extreme temperatures.
